What This Lesson Teaches
Systems Are Not Personal is the first lesson in the curriculum because every lesson that follows depends on this concept. It teaches that systems operate on rules and requirements, not personal feelings. When someone gets denied, marked incomplete, or turned away, the system is following a process. Understanding this changes how people interact with workplaces, benefits offices, courts, schools, and every other institution they encounter.
This preview includes the complete lesson exactly as your facilitators and the people you serve would experience it. Nothing has been shortened or modified.
